Frequently Asked Questions About Bulk Matcha Supply (FAQs)

You can find most of the information regarding bulk purchases and the export of our matcha here.

As the first and pioneer Matcha manufacturer in Vietnam since 2008, we have standardized our agricultural and processing frameworks according to Japan’s most rigorous technical criteria. Owning a dedicated 50-hectare (500,000 sqm) single-origin estate on the Mộc Châu plateau at an elevation of 1,500 meters, Chinh Son Tea exerts absolute control over the entire vertical supply chain—from cultivar genetics and cultivation protocols to final milling. This eliminates any vulnerabilities regarding supply chain disruptions or seasonal quality fluctuations.

Our agricultural management is strictly driven by precise scientific indicators:

  • Advanced Shading Technique: For 20 to 30 days prior to harvest, an engineered canopy system (Tana) blocks at least 90% of sunlight, forcing the tea plants into intense artificial photosynthesis. This maximizes Chlorophyll accumulation (producing our signature vivid emerald hue) and concentrates L-Theanine levels above 2% while suppressing the conversion of amino acids into bitter tannins.
  • High-Altitude Terroir (1,500m): The substantial diurnal temperature variations coupled with heavy morning fog on the Mộc Châu plateau slow down the vegetative growth rate of the tea flushes. This densifies the cell structure, enriching it with vital nutrients and polyphenolic antioxidants, particularly EGCG.

Our B2B product matrix is technically categorized by micro-particle dimensions and specific industrial applications:

  • Ceremonial Premium Grade: Ultra-micronized to < 12 microns utilizing proprietary granite mill or ball-milled technology. It features a flawless micro-structure with zero astringency and deep Umami, specifically calibrated for premium retail and traditional tea ceremony applications.
  • Barista / Latte Grade: Formulated to withstand the acidity and fat matrices of dairy and plant-based milks (oat, almond). It delivers a robust aroma and profound Umami that remains vibrant and uncompromised post-homogenization.
  • Culinary / Industrial Grade: Milled to a standard 800 – 1000 mesh. The most critical physical trait of this grade is its superior heat-resistant color retention. It preserves its natural green spectrum and aromatic profile throughout high-temperature industrial processing, including baking, pasteurization, and UHT sterilization.

Our complete farm-to-factory pipeline operates under global food safety management systems, audited and certified independently by recognized authorities: ISO 22000, HACCP, and Halal. Furthermore, our batches undergo routine chromatographic screening at independent laboratories to guarantee strict compliance with the Maximum Residue Limits (MRLs) of the European Union (EU) and the US FDA.

Aligned with the stringent validation protocols of food scientists and product developers, we supply R&D-ready sample kits accompanied by full Technical Specification Sheets corresponding to your targeted formulation. Samples are prepared, certified, and dispatched within 48 hours from the receipt of technical criteria.

As an original manufacturer, we deliver end-to-end OEM execution:

  • Specification Customization: Flexible adjustment of mesh size, color intensity, and flavor profile matching the exact formulations of client factories.
  • Industrial & Retail Packaging: Solutions span from bulk industrial packaging (5kg, 10kg, and 25kg multi-layer aluminum barrier bags for anti-oxidation) to retail-ready formats (nitrogen-flushed tin cans, stand-up zip pouches). A low industrial MOQ starting at just 5kg is available to optimize corporate working capital.

We manage international logistics proficiently, supporting standard global trade terms: FOB (Hai Phong Port / Ho Chi Minh City Port), CFR, CIF, or EXW. Our global freight forwarding network ensures optimized maritime shipping (FCL/LCL) and air freight routing.

Every official export shipment from Chinh Son Tea is issued with a complete set of international trade documents to ensure frictionless customs clearance at destination ports:

  1. Commercial Invoice & Detailed Packing List.
  2. Ocean Bill of Lading (B/L) or Air Waybill (AWB).
  3. Certificate of Origin (C/O): Full support for preferential tariff certificates, including Form E (ASEAN-China), CPTPP, EVFTA, Form AK/KV (Korea), and others.
  4. Certificate of Analysis (CoA) directly traceable to the specific Lot Number.
  5. Phytosanitary Certificate.

To secure capital flow and streamline international trade processing, we operate exclusively via Telegraphic Transfer (T/T). The structured commercial payment terms are defined as: A 50% T/T advance payment immediately upon contract execution, followed by the remaining 50% T/T balance payment prior to ex-factory dispatch and shipment.

Due to the micro-particle structure of Matcha, the powder is highly sensitive to oxygen, thermal degradation, and photo-oxidation, which break down chlorophyll and cause lipid oxidation:

  • Shelf Life: Guaranteed 12 months from the manufacturing date under factory-sealed conditions.
  • Inventory Control: For distributors or food plants holding bulk raw material inventory, we strictly recommend storage inside a dedicated cold storage facility at a continuous temperature range of 4°C to 10°C, with relative humidity < 50%. Upon extraction from cold storage, a structural tempering period is mandatory to prevent surface moisture condensation from degrading the powder quality.
